Ghost Hunt Anime!!

Hi ya!
A few days ago I finished the anime Ghost Hunt and I absolutely loved it!! For those of you who don't know what Ghost Hunt is, you must watch it. It's about a girl named Mai Taniyama, She is in her first year of high school who loves to tell ghost stories and gets involved with the Shibuya Psychic Research Center, to solve the problems of people with unexplained paranormal phenomena. The leader of the Research Center is seventeen-year-old Kazuya Shibuya. Mai nicknames him to be "Naru" because of his narcissistic attitude. The series explores Mai's psychic development; she dreams of information that will help in the cases that she is working on. The series follows these two characters and five other characters: Houshou Takigawa who is a Buddhist monk, Ayako Matsuzaki is the shrine maiden, Masako Hara who is a famous psychic, John Brown is an Australian Catholic priest, and finally Lin Koujo who is Naru's first assistant and (I think this is what the anime referred to him as) a yin-yang master.
I think this was an amazing anime series, but it should have been continued to explain some of the things that were left unsolved. If you have not seen the series then do NOT read this part because it is going to be a spoiler. I really want to know when and where we learned about Naru and his incredible power. Also, I want to know why we don't know who is really behind Mai's dreams, because I don't think it is Naru who is with her, but someone who is appears to be Naru. What is up with the relationship between Mai and Naru anyway, are they suppose to a romantic relationship or just friends? But the biggest question(s) I have is what are Naru's and Mai true potential powers?!

I found this series to be a little less than amazing because of all the lose ends. However, the series was really good when the hair rose on my arms when a scary or dangerous part really came up. Like in File 7: The Bloodstained Labyrinth Part 2, when Mai dreams that she is being murdered, that was really intense. My eyes were so wide that I thought I was going to lose them. I felt so bad for Mai... she had to go through so much. I loved the thrill of watching this show. I didn't find it as scary as some people told me, but it was a great unexpected scary at times. Although, there were times when the series turned to a funny moment and that was nice, like the joking between Mai, Houshou, and Ayako.
I guess if I had to rate this anime out of five stars, I would give it FIVE stars, it was pretty good. But if you're not into the whole supernatural/paranormal thing, it might not be for you, unless you like a good heart-pounding story. I think that may favorite character was actually two characters, Naru and Mai!!
Tell me what you thought!!!
