Side Note: And okay I know that it's probably incorrect to refer to these as "Asian drinks" but that's the best term I could come up. Who knows, they could actually hail from somewhere else and I totally wouldn't know....
The first drink is a yogurt type drink. I call it, and bare with my attempt at phonetic spelling here, yang ga duo. That's the name I was told. Anyway it comes in packages of several little bottles. I think there might be pro biotic benefits or something? It's sweet, and just tastes awesome!
Ramune is also pretty awesome. There are like a ton of flavors: melon, strawberry, pineapple etc. I'm not really a big soda fan, but these come in such cool bottles! They are sealed with a little glass marble, so in order to open it you use a little plastic thing to push in the marble and then you have a bottle with a marble in it and okay so I"m not making any sense. But it's cool! At least if your like me and enjoy little things like weird bottles.

Lastly, here is a drink that I actually first had last summer. It tastes amazing in the super hot weather of different parts of Asia. Plus I just saw it in the Prince of Tennis! It's more of an exercise drink I guess. Anyway, it's called Pocari Sweat.

you got to Admit Japan has a lot of unique and weird stuff. like snake icescream. I am just tempted to go to Japan just to try that.
ReplyDeleteYes! so much cool food stuff. They also have like yam and taro ice cream, although I did not know about snake ice cream! I really want to try more of their sweets and stuff. But even in their vending machines it seems like you can find awesome things.
