Ventures into Manhwa: Noblesse

Rai (Left) and Frankenstein (Right)
So I didn't realize, but apparently Korean manga is called manhwa?
Anyway, I started reading this one called Noblesse, and I really like it! It's funny, but also has action, interesting characters, and is pretty original. The art is also fantastic, and it's in color!
Noblesse is about this one "vampire" (Not really a vampire in the traditional sense, but part of this group known as Nobles) named Cadis Etrama de Raizel, or more commonly Rai, who has just woken up after 820 years. Rai sees a lot of people walking around in a school uniform, so makes his clothing look like the uniform, and then is mistaken as a transfer student. He goes to the headmaster's office, and then it turns out that he actually knows the headmaster, Frankenstein. Rai happens to be Frankenstein's master. Rai begins to go to the school that Frankenstein runs, and becomes friends with some of the students. Then this group known as the Union, gets involved. They are some really giant, powerful, organization that modifies humans to make them more powerful. The union seems to have little regard for human life. Rai's friends end up having a run in with some Union agents, and eventually this leads to Rai and Frankenstein becoming involved. Anyway, the story continues with Rai and Frankenstein having run ins with different groups of people, making some allies/friends along the way, and uncovering Rai's past.
Okay, so that wasn't a very good summary, but the story gets complicated and is hard to explain, so that's just a basic outline of how it starts. It's written by Son Jae Ho, and illustrated by Lee Gwang Su, and published online by Naver. It started in 2008.

This photo won an art contest I think, Rai really loves ramen.
