Nodame Cantabile

So, one of my favorite, most inspiring animes is Nodame Cantabile. For some reason, after watching each episode I felt really motivated to go and practice the piano.  I have heard so many pieces played on there that I would die to be able to play, especially the Chopin and Brahms pieces. Why I like this anime compared to La Corda D'Oro, is because, it is more realistic in the fact that Nodame (one of the main characters) is truly talented, she doesn't simply have a magic piano, or in the case of La Corda D'Oro, a magic violin. Chiaki too is so inspiring.  Chiaki is, dare I say, too talented. He's an amazing violinist that makes you want to just give up 12 hours of your day to practice so you can be just as good, and he just happens to be a wonderful pianist too. However, despite all this talent, his only true passion, is conducting. Although it may cause a sort of depressing feeling to see someone be so talented in so many aspects, ultimately, it makes you realize that it is possible. It is very possible. The fact that Chiaki and Nodame play with real talent, and not some magic instrument, makes it so much better because then it is possible to imagine that being you. And of course, there's the cheesy love story that forms their friendship on the side, but their relationship is really driven by their love and talent for music. Also, the bonds that they form with other orchestra members through the music is incredible. If this isn't the most inspiring anime i've ever seen, I don't know what is.
