So I've been thinking, it's time to share some original writing on here! So to start off, I'll be posting "episodes" of an original asian drama I'm currently working on! It's a musical romance, meaning, there's music, and you guessed it, romance! Several of the characters are based on real celebrities, but only in regards to name similarity and appearances, talents, not personality (since how would I know?)
The story takes place with two basic assumption. First, the main characters that are mentioned are all Chinese (unless otherwise stated of course). The second assumption is that all the dialogue (except when stated otherwise) all takes place in Mandarin Chinese. Taking a nice break from those KDramas here!
Here's a brief little synopsis for you!
Sonata Op. 520
Twenty-three year old Isabelle Young is an aspiring artist.
She had worked all her life to accomplish her lifelong dream, to become a world
famous classical musician. One day, when she journeys to China to work under a
famous concert master, she meets Jay, a young musician like herself, however he
is in the rock music industry, a genre that many classical musicians felt
disdain towards. Isabelle and Jay are at
first very disagreeable, not able to stand in one other's presence. But some
mysterious connection between them draws them closer; a connection that may
have been forged many years ago in the past. As the two musicians realize their
talents and desires, they attempt to rewrite what fate has carved into their lives...but
is it possible? Or does the world they live in have a plan of its own?
